Thanks to everyone who turned out on Sunday March 17th. Several bags of litter were taken to the tip, and we made an effort this time to separate out the recyclable items such as cans and bottles.

Staverton will be entering the Best Kept Village competition this year, so it’s even more important than usual to keep it clean! Judging will take place in May or June.

The Autumnal clean will be on Sunday October 6th. If you’d like to take part please come to the Village Hall at 1030. Equipment will be provided, as will tea, coffee, sweets and biscuits. If you’re on the mailing list you’ll get a reminder a few days before. If you’re not on the mailing list but would like to be please send an email to trevor.carbin@wiltshire.gov.uk.
