Police nab speeders in Staverton

The local team was in action at New Terrace on a number of occasions from April 7th to 14th.  Despite the officers being clearly visible to motorists five drivers got fixed penalty notices for being well over the 30mph limit.

Cemetery Lane in Bradford to be closed

We won’t be able to take the short cut from Holt Road onto New Road in Bradford for much longer.  Because of the development in the area the road is to be permanently shut to through traffic. The legal order for the closure comes into force on April 13th: the actual closure could be any time thereafter.

96 bus service reduced

As of mid-March 2018 the 1710 bus from Bradford to South Wraxall and Monkton Farleigh has been scrapped, with the last bus now being at 1410 from Trowbridge and 1435 from Bradford town bridge.  WC say this is due to not enough passengers using the bus to make it worthwhile.
