The survey was carried out just east of Gypsy Lane between 10/07/2018 and 23/07/2018. A total of 67,218 vehicles were checked. The 85^th percentile was 33.6mph (the 85^th percentile is the speed at which 85% of the traffic is travelling at or below). The average speed was 28.7mph.

In a 30mph speed limit the following criteria are applied by WC;

30 to 35mph 85th percentile = No Further Action

The last time measurements were taken at this site was in February 2014 (6th to 19th), when the number of vehicles  recorded was 42,680 and the 85th percentile speed was 34.4mph.
