Wiltshire Council has agreed to reduce the speed limit at Woolley Green from 50 to 40mph.  The new limit will extend from the existing 40 limit at Bradford Leigh crossroads to a point just SW of the double bend at Woolley Green.  There will also be improved signage to warn drivers of the bends and the advisory pedestrian crossing.

There have been four crashes involving injuries in the area over the last few years.  The most recent was in January this year when a driver lost control and hit a couple of pedestrians.
