The ever-popular youth club is looking for volunteers to help keep the club running.
With an average of 40 attendees a week it is clearly providing an important service to the young people of Holt, but this cannot be continued without further support.
Whether you wish to be a member of the Committee, supervise the weekly club or run the weekly Tuck Shop, there are roles available for everyone. It doesn’t matter how old or young, or how experienced you are, it will provide a good experience and look very good on CV’s!
Any amount of help would be appreciated, even if you can’t commit on a weekly basis, if we all join in then this brilliant service for the young people in our village can continue!
Due to the high numbers of attendees and succession planning for members of the committee who have worked for the club voluntarily for 20 years they especially would welcome help with:
Chairperson for the Committee
Secretary for the Committee
Tuck shop volunteers
Support to Youth Workers
They would also love to hear from anyone who would like to provide more ad hoc help. For example, they wish to design a website for the group and would like members to be involved in the process if they are interested, so that they can learn how this is done.
If you are interested in helping out (even for just 1 hour) please email info@bghyp.org for more information
